Fall 2014 Faculty Adviser, New Blood Festival VIII Service (School-wide) New Blood is a festival of student performances overseen by the Department of Exhibitions & Events. The Faculty Adviser is a juror on the review commitee who also critiques work-in-progress presentations and mentors student projects in individual or group sessions
Fall 2014 Faculty Mentor, Queering Mixed Reality Collective Service (School-wide) QMRC was a student-run collective of artists and scholars working to create discourse around the topic of cyber space as a queer space. The group was sponsored by a Shapiro Center EAGER grant and was co-mentored by Perfomance faculty member, Mark Jeffery. The Fall semester culminated in a symposium at the Joan Flasch Artists' Book Collection.

Fall 2014 ATS Assessment Coordinator Service (ATS / School-wide) In Fall, I underwent training sessions in creating assessment criteria to evaluate student work in relation to departmental teaching goals.
Fall 2014 Portfolio Reviews, Graduate Admissions Service (School-wide) Traveled with Graduate Admissions to review portfolios of prospective SAIC students at New York SAIC Day, Los Angeles SAIC DAY, and National Portfolio Day in San Francisco. Also reviewed for Graduate Portfolio Day in Chicago.
Fall 2014 Fulbright Reviews, Co-op & Career Services Service (School-wide) Reviewed Fulbright proposals from current and former SAIC students and provided direct feedback as part of a small panel of SAIC faculty and staff.

Spring 2015 Mentor, LinkUp Residency Service (supplemental) Links Hall Project Mentor for Christine Shallenberg's LinkUp Residency. While this context was external to SAIC, Christine is a former ATS student and now PT faculty colleague, so this situation demonstrates an extension of my SAIC mentoring role into the ongoing artistic life of an alumnus

Summer 2015 ATS Curricular Retreat Service (ATS) Participated in departmental day-long event discussing goals for revising curriculum, integrating assessment, revisiting our department mission and improving outreach to prospective students
Fall 2015 ATS 4560 / VisCom 4560: Data Viz Collaborative Teaching This is a co-taught course between SAIC and Northwestern that includes 4-6 professors working with students from both institutions. It results in the annual Data Viz Collaborative exhibition at the Neiman Center.
